ABOUT US:

The Vietnamese Melody Group, Xang Xu Liu (sahh -ng, suh, Leo), was found on August 24, 2022 in the city of Sacramento. “Xang Xu Liu” is 1 out of hundreds of melody types found in Vietnamese Folk Opera aka “Cai Luong”. Cai Luong originated in Southern Vietnam and is still very well known throughout different parts of the world where Vietnamese Communities are located. We focus on maintaining and promote this form of art via Opera Acts aka “Trich Doan Cai Luong” and Modernized Opera Songs aka “Tan Co”. While preserving this art, we also prioritize modern genres including Vietnamese Bolero Country/Folk, and VPOP to acknowledge our homeland, our culture, and the evolution of Vietnamese Stage Arts. It is our honor to preserve these important cultural elements of Vietnam.
