Dr. Tahoora Sadoughi, MD is a neurologist with training in headache medicine at USC. Her journey into this field took a more personal approach as she herself experienced daily headaches after a concussion while playing soccer. She started having frequent headaches as well as a slew of post-concussive symptoms. Dr. Sadoughi started educating herself in order to find new ways to manage her symptoms, not only via medications but also through lifestyle modifications during medical school and this inspired her to become a neurologist and a headache specialist. Her personal experience with headaches has given her a greater perspective and newfound empathy towards her patients and their struggles. Dr. Sadoughi enjoys taking a holistic approach to headache management and strives to work together with her patients to improve their quality of life.
