I am an Outreach Peer Support Worker at Fresh Start Recovery, I have been with the organization since September 2022 where I began as a Chef. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Addictions Counselling and Mental Health.

I have always had a passion for Outreach type work ever since completing my Junior Internship at the Lethbridge Shelter. Although this position is different, it's still engaging with people in the earliest stages of recovery, and connecting individuals with community resources, among many other things. I absolutely love my position, and getting the opportunity to share my story of recovery, and helping others find hope.

If I can help even 1 person find the freedom I have found, then my recovery - with all of its ups and downs - is a success.

In my spare time I love doing crafts, watching scary movies and attending concerts with my teenager, and playing disc golf and watching hockey with my fiancé.
