My recovery began in 2007 and it is something that helps me to connect with others with substance misuse issues.

After 8 years of recovery, I found myself in a situation that ultimately lead to relapse. By 10-Sep-2021, my desire for recovery exceeded my desire to use, and I began an unexpected journey with Fresh Start Recovery.

I have a diploma in Social Work from Bow Valley College and I am working to enrol in the ACSW to become a Registered Social Worker in Alberta.

I am indebted to Fresh Start Recovery, and I endeavor to help others to recover from a hopeless state of mind and spirit.

I started in the position of Client Support Worker at Site 1 (Calgary) in 2022 and transferred to the position of Outreach Peer Support Worker at sites 2 & 3 in Lethbridge (in 2025).

My goal is to help people heal, and rediscover their value and worth to themselves, their family, and their community.

Together we can heal, recover and help others do the same.
