I began my journey with Fresh Start in spring 2024 as Kitchen Manager, honored to share my passion for cooking with this remarkable community. My love for the culinary arts began early—cooking always called to me, becoming a creative outlet that shaped my path. Traveling across Canada, I honed my skills in restaurants and hotels, learning to transform food into sustenance and art. The thrill of wild ingredients and new places kept my work exciting and fresh.

Like many in the industry, I battled addiction for years. Recovery has given me a renewed purpose: to share my love of food and the healing power of community. A mentor once told me, “Gratitude is shown through actions.” With that wisdom, my kitchen team and I strive daily to ensure everyone at the Fresh Start table feels welcomed and well-fed.
